NEWP stands for North East White Pride. They are a racist, white nationalist and neo-nazi organization that operates in the North East region of the US. Founder Robert O'Donovan, an ex-member of White Revolution, began organizing on the internet in the early 2000's. NEWP now has 300+ registered users on their forum section and has also organized protests, rallies, concerts, parties, and monthly meetings. The groups monthly meetings are often small, bringing in about 5 participants, but they frequently network with other racist/white nationalist groups in the North East to draw more sympathetic parties. NEWP, like most other racist organizations, refers to itself as a "white rights" group that focuses on issues such as immigration, education, crime, and social services.
